My First Visit

Frequently asked questions about your first visit

How do I enter the Gym?

You will have full access to each training location, front door access is typically how you will enter the gym for your workout. You trainer will meet you at the designated training facility, if you have any problems please call +1 (619) 678-2052 and ask for Todd, thank you!!

What if I need help while I'm in the Gym?

If you have any questions upon arriving at the gym, please call or text Todd at +1 (619) 678-2052 – he will gladly answer any questions for you. You can always ask the front counter team member!

I entered my PIN but the door won’t open. What should I do?

You will typically have 3 options when entering a training facility, 1. You will be given a 4 digit pass code, 2. You will have a membership card granted to you, 3. You will be entering the location with your trainer – if for any reason you have a problem gaining access please call Todd at +1 (619) 678-2052, thank you!

I’m disabled; will I have problems getting into The Gym?

All training locations have ramps for wheelchairs and staff members to help assist you if the need ever arises. If we can make it easier or more convenient please let us know and we will do our best to fix the problem – your feedback is welcome.

Frequently asked questions about being a member of the Gym

How old do I need to be to join the Gym?

You must be 18 years or older unless you are with a parent or guardian – clients under 18 need to be accompanied my an adult plus sign a release waiver. Thank you for your cooperation!

Can I trial the Gym before joining?

New clients receive a FREE Initial Consultation or a FREE training session to ensure you’re a prefect fit for your trainer. We welcome all individuals and happy to have you join our community!

Can I freeze my membership?

For family and/or medical emergencies your membership or training package can be put on a temporary hold. Please speak to your trainer, you must have written consent to freeze your account.

Can I get a student discount?

Defined Personal Training offers specials throughout the year, please visit our social media accounts for recent and upcoming specials, discounts and free offerings.

Will I be shown how to use the equipment?

Absolutely, any questions you have regarding the equipment usage please consult your trainer anytime.

Are there lockers?

Yes, all facilities include lockers for your protection. Some lockers are coin operated (bring quarters) and some you’ll need to use a pad lock for, locks are provided for purchase typically. It’s best to bring your own!

Do you provide parking at The Gym?

All locations have free public parking, it’s best to arrive 10-15 minutes before to avoid being late. Depending on the time of day, you may have a short walk if the parking lot is full – please make sure to leave enough time to park.

Is there CCTV at the Gym?

Yes, all locations have security cameras in the parking lot as well as inside the facility. It’s best to find parking in a well lit area, closest to the from the training location.

Is the the gym website secure?

Our website is secured with the latest SSL technology, your information will never be compromised or sold to 3rd party companies. We take your privacy very serious, a secure website will have a lock image in the location bar – ours will always have the symbol rest assured.
